February, lets be honest is really all about Valentine’s Day but this year rather than celebrate the big day just the once we here at the Highcliff are celebrating it three times, so gents there really are no excuses!

 

Andy Smith, Executive Sous Chef has created an irresistible 5 course menu which we will be serving in the Highcliff Grill on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Tuesday 14th February.  Please click here for further details and to view our full menu.

 

Also for the month of February our seasonal treats calendar continues………and this month our focus is going to be on mussels, offering a selection of mouth-watering dishes featuring our locally sourced mussels.

 

The mussels that we serve in the Highcliff Grill are sourced from the Jurassic Coast, on our doorstep! This famous stretch of coastline covers around 95 miles running from Orcombe Point near Exmouth to Old Harry Rocks on Studland Bay.  This was also England’s first natural world heritage site due to the historic geological properties and it’s also not bad for shell fish!

 

So keep an eye out for the exciting mussel dishes that you will see in the Highcliff Grill throughout February.
