A Happy New Year to you all!

 

We've been working hard over the last few months coming up with ideas for new seasonal menus for you to enjoy over the coming year. To kick off the brand new year of 2012 we'd like to introduce to you our Scallop Menu, as the scallop season is now upon us!

 

These are a selection of some of our most popular scallop dishes. They have always been at the corner stone of our menus since we launched the Highcliff Grill back in 2008.

 

We pride ourselves on fresh quality ingredients and the scallops are no exception, coming from a little local town called Lyme Regis.

 

Lyme Regis is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies in Lyme Bay on the English Channel coast on the Dorset boarder.  Beatrix Potter famously based some of her illustrations on the town itself putting Lyme Regis on the map. More recently Lyme Regis has become famous for its seafood being renowned in the local area and beyond.

 

So please enjoy our selection of scallop dishes and takeaway not only happy dining memories but also a little piece of local history!
